What the Beauty shop looked like at it's original location on Brown street
Current locationTook me a while to find this. The Beauty shop in the movie Places in the Heart was moved from it's original spot and where it was filmed in the the movie on Brown street. Also a column was added to the front which added to the difficulty in identifying it. But thanks to Shanon, director at the Ellis County museum, I was able to get access to a tour of Waxahachie movie location flier. It's located on Marvin and I believe is now called the Anderson home.

The Malloy name sounds familiar. You might look in the Memories Bigraphies of Ellis County at Sims Library look for the last name Malloy
Those are two different houses.
Or possibly from completely different views. One from front porch, one from side?
